Service Development Manager
Aly began her career through front-line support work and management of homeless hostels, supported housing projects and tenancy support, working primarily with young people and those with mental ill-health.
Aly’s role as Economics and Evaluation Manager at Resolving Chaos, makes use of her experience working within front-line, management, training and commissioning roles, all of which were working to improve services and outcomes for people with multiple and complex needs.
Aly has in-depth understanding of commissioning, having played a lead role within Lambeth Supporting People team for almost ten years, particularly for people with multiple needs, including homelessness, substance mis-use, mental health, and learning disabilities. This work involved responsibility for writing strategic commissioning plans, and leading on their implementation, involving the whole commissioning cycle of review, plan, mobilise, monitor and evaluate
Since joining Resolving Chaos, Aly has led projects that undertake economic evaluation of services and make a case for a greater degree of choice and personalisation. She is also project lead for the E-Choice channel, a web-based tool that allows people to use an Individual Budget on-line, making purchases, also recording goals, progress and reviews.
